Service check-in and children

Each scheduled service gets a 4-digit check-in code, shown in church (on screen or by the ushers). The member types it in the app, at a USSD prompt (USSD) or is checked in by a biometric device; all three land in the same attendance records. The routes with {church} in the path check that the token's member belongs to that church.

The code must belong to the church and the current time (Nairobi) must fall within the service's hours. Failures: You have entered a wrong code, The service has not started, The service has ended.

Online check-in

For a member watching a livestream (the streams list from events/public). Checks the member into today's schedule of the livestream's service.

Children

The active children the member may check in: their own, their spouse's, and children they are a trustee for.

The child is placed in the Sunday school class for their age, the teachers are alerted, and the parent receives an SMS with a checkout code needed to collect the child. Failures as for checkin.

The outcome arrives by SMS: a confirmation, or You have entered a wrong checkout code. The caller may be the parent, the spouse or a trustee. An unknown child answers You have entered a wrong checkout code directly.

Trustees

Trustees are people the parent allows to check a child in and out.
